Confidence, growth, and pride in every innings.
About Surge Cricket
Surge Cricket is a proudly Western Australian owned business created for people who share our love of cricket. From a player’s first backyard hit to the pressure of a club match, we believe the right gear—and the right support—can help every cricketer feel more confident, capable, and proud of their game.
We carefully select performance-focused equipment for cricketers at every stage, from juniors learning the basics to experienced club players chasing their next milestone. Every product is considered through a player’s eyes, tested with real playing conditions in mind, and backed by practical guidance from people who understand the game.
What the Surge name stands for
- Strength — the confidence to step up and play your game.
- Unity — the teammates, families, coaches, and clubs who make cricket special.
- Resilience — learning from every challenge and coming back ready.
- Growth — celebrating progress, one session and one innings at a time.
- Excellence — caring about the details in our gear, advice, and service.
More than cricket gear
To us, cricket has never been only about runs and wickets. It is where confidence grows, setbacks become lessons, friendships are formed, and unforgettable moments are shared. We are proud to play a part in that journey by offering gear players can trust and support that feels genuine from the first conversation.

THE FOUNDER
Meet Ian Ebert
Surge Cricket began in 2018 with Ian Ebert, a cricketer and craftsman who loves the game and believes the details matter. He started the business to give players thoughtfully selected gear, honest advice, and the kind of personal service he would want as a cricketer himself.
Ian brings a practical, patient, and player-first approach to everything Surge Cricket does. He knows that when equipment feels right in your hands, you can stop thinking about the gear and focus on your game. That understanding guides how every product is designed, selected, tested, and supported.
The values behind the Surge name — Strength, Unity, Resilience, Growth, and Excellence — are also the values Ian brings to the business each day: care in the details, high standards, straight answers, and genuine support for the people who make cricket possible.
For Ian, Surge Cricket is a way to give something back to the game that has given him so much—to stay connected with the cricket community and help players walk to the crease feeling ready, supported, and proud.
