Butterfly Range
Our Butterfly Willow bats are proof that appearance doesn’t define performance. Featuring the same premium English willow used in high-grade bats, Butterfly Willow offers exceptional value for players looking for a high-performing bat at a more affordable price.
The distinctive butterfly pattern is a natural feature of the willow, formed as the tree heals around a pruned or broken branch during its growth. Over time, this natural healing process creates darker grain patterns within the timber that resemble the wings of a butterfly—giving Butterfly Willow its name.
These natural markings are purely cosmetic and have no adverse effect on performance. Every cleft is individually selected for its grain structure, fibre alignment, density, weight, and balance to ensure it meets our performance standards. In many cases, Butterfly Willow produces outstanding bats with exceptional feel and durability.
Many players find Butterfly Willow bats have a slightly firmer feel, providing excellent feedback and impressive power. The denser timber surrounding the stained area can also result in increased structural strength, making these bats particularly well suited to regular training and net sessions. Our Gold Butterfly bats also make exceptional match bats, delivering performance comparable to a Grade 1 bat at a fraction of the cost.
