About your bat
Willow is a natural, soft material that changes with use. A bat’s lifespan depends on the amount and intensity of ball impact. Normal wear, dents and play-related damage are not necessarily manufacturing defects.
What is not covered
- split-toe damage caused by digging out a yorker
- high-impact edge damage
- damage caused by low-quality or unusually hard cricket balls
- water damage
- normal wear or damage caused by improper preparation, protection or maintenance
Make a warranty claim
Ian, our founder and bat maker, assesses returned bats based on their age, damage, condition and maintenance.
surgecricket@gmail.com
- Clear photos and a brief description of the damage
- Proof of purchase
- Your bat ID
- Your contact details
We may ask you to return the bat for assessment. We will confirm whether the claim is covered and explain the available remedy.
Postage
Inbound and outbound postage is not covered by this voluntary warranty. Return carriage is charged at cost and may be paid by PayPal or PayID.
Other product warranties
Protective equipment and kit bags include a 6-month warranty covering split seams or stitching.
